Jeffrey Lee Case's Obituary
Jeffrey Lee Case, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on July 16, 1962, in Muncie, Indiana, to Donna Gruewell and Ivan Case. His journey of unwavering faith and love began early, graduating high school ahead of schedule and moving to Tulsa at just 16 to attend Rhema Bible College. While working at St. Francis Hospital, he met the love of his life, Mary. Their partnership blossomed into a life of purpose and service, guiding Jeff through nearly 45 years between St. Francis Hospital and the Warren Foundation, a career to which he was truly dedicated and loved.
Jeff deeply cherished his family-his wife Mary, daughter Amanda, and grandchildren Thad and Sadie. Although Jeff's greatest joy came from spending time with his family, he enjoyed life's simple pleasures: hunting with friends, fly fishing with family, and camping in the Bighorn Mountains. A man of deep faith, he immersed himself in biblical prophecy and international affairs, especially those concerning Israel. He also had a playful side, with a love for all things peanut butter and a talent for grilling and smoking BBQ.
Jeff embodied the spirit of 2 Timothy 4:7-8: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing." Anyone who was lucky enough to know Jeff knew how strong, firm, and steadfast he was for his family and for his Lord.
As we honor Jeff's legacy, we remember his gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and devotion to others. He lived as an example of Christ's service, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Though he is no longer with us, his strength and love live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Mary Case; daughter, Amanda Treat; grandchildren, Thaddeus and Sadie Treat; mother, Donna and step-father, Gary Atkinson; father, Ivan Eugene and step-mother, Becky Case; and siblings: Cheryl Case Papalia (Enzo), Kim Atkinson Williams (Dennis), Cathy Case Stagge (Mark), Chris Atkinson, Maggie Plyler (Dennis), Robert Havener (Mary Lou), and Carol Edmonson (Mike). He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service honoring Jeff will be held in the Rivercrest Chapel at Bixby-South Tulsa Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 at 10:00 am.
