Jeannette Money's Obituary
Jeannette Money Obituary
Born October 6, 1939, in La Grange, Texas, Jeannette was the daughter of Atlin and Laura (Foerster) Warnken. She was also welcomed by an older brother, Royce. Growing up in her birth community, Jeannette always had a fondness for the not-too-distant Texas coast – especially Galveston. She would end up sharing this passion, and many others, with her husband, Max Money. The two married in 1966 and later welcomed sons: John and Mike. The Money family would call the Irving area home. There, they established a small printing company through the 1980’s and into the 1990’s. Jeannette would transition into the insurance industry where she worked as an administrator until her retirement. She would retire with the AETNA company. When she was not at work, Jeannette enjoyed bargain hunting at antique and thrift stores. Through her collections, it was determined that she was NOT a minimalist. In fact, her fondness of antique glass helped her become a member of an antique glass club where she was sure to make many friends. Collectibles, plants, good food, and the beach were some of Jeannette’s favorites. She enjoyed laughing and had a great sense of humor (often catching others off guard). She was also a little goofy, playful and loving – especially with her grandchildren. Jeannette passed from this life on October 31, 2022 at her son’s home in Jenks, Oklahoma. She was 83. She is survived by: her sons: Mike Money and wife, Michelle; and John Money; her grandchildren: Maren, Ava, Max, Molly, and Jake; her great-granddaughter, Scout; her brother, Royce Warnken and by other family and dear friends.
