Jason Anthony Martinez's Obituary
Jason Anthony Martinez, born on June 20, 1973, in Pueblo, Colorado, was the second of four sons welcomed by Lou and Rhonda (Romiro) Martinez. Jason spent his early years in California before returning to Colorado, where he met the love of his life, Deldrea Garza. Together, they made their home in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, raising a family and building a close-knit circle of friends.
With over 25 years of experience in the stone fabrication and installation industry, Jason was a dedicated professional and served as the operations manager for Millcreek Granite & Stone. When he wasn't hard at work, Jason could be found enjoying some of his favorite pastimes - watching movies, cheering on his beloved Raiders, listening to music, savoring good food, and working on his motorcycle. An artist at heart, he also enjoyed creating tattoos, sharing his talent with friends and family.
Jason was known for being outgoing, dependable, loyal, strong, supportive, funny, and loving. To many, he was truly a "man's man," embodying strength and character in everything he did.
On Monday, September 9, 2024, Jason passed away unexpectedly at the age of 51, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his loving wife, Deldrea (Garza) Martinez; his children: daughter, Janette Williams and her husband, Chad, son, Jason Martinez, Jr., and daughter, Isabel Martinez; his grandchildren: Madelyn, Woody, and Otto; parents, Lou and Rhonda Martinez; and his brothers, Louie, James, and Adam. Jason was preceded in death by his son, David, whose memory he carried in his heart.
