Joyce and I were members at First Baptist Ponca City in Oklahoma during the time Jim led the worship and music ministry there before we left to enter SWBTS. We have fond memories that were prompted today listening to a Christmas CD of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Jim is the first person who made us aware of them and the quality of music which he so faithfully honored. We have great appreciation for his faith, his leadership, and his gift of music so humbly used to serve God's family. Our empathy and compassion go out to the family.
