Houston Wayne Brown's Obituary
We come together to celebrate the life and honor the memory of Houston Wayne Brown. Aka "Hoot", "Hootie". A man known for his adventurous spirit and loving heart. Born on September 3rd, 1983, in Oklahoma City, OK. to Brenda Dean Brown and Danny Joe Harrison. Houston's journey through life was as vibrant and daring as the world allowed. On August 17th, 2025, Houston passed away in his home.
Houston was a man whose life was marked by the close relationships he cultivated and the passions he pursued with unbridled enthusiasm. Houston was raised in Tulsa and loved dearly by his Grandparents, Lorene and Wayne Brown. Houston attended Union High School. His youth laid the foundation for a life filled with ambition and a strong sense of family.
Professionally, Houston made his mark at Jim's Electric Company. Where he studied to become a licensed journeyman. As a best friend to many, Houston was known for always having a smile and loved his friends dearly. He was as tender hearted as they come. Although, we all know he had his "Hoot" moments! His fearless approach to life inspired many. Houston's legacy is one of courage, camaraderie and the pure love and joy of life.
Houston's presence was a beacon of light and joy for those who knew him. His laughter was infectious, his advice was solid and his ability to listen and truly hear made him a confidant to many. Houston lived a life with an open heart, embracing every day as an opportunity to make memories and pursue his dreams.
Houston was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Lorene Brown, his father, Danny Harrison and infant daughter, Kyla Nicole.
As we say goodbye to Houston, we reflect on a life well-lived, a life that was full of passion, adventure, and love. His spirit will continue to soar in the hearts of those he touched and the memories he created will serve as a guiding force for all who were fortunate enough to know him. Houston's journey on earth may have concluded, but the legacy of his vibrant spirit will continue to inspire and guide us for generations to come.
In closing, we honor a man that lived life on his terms, with the wind beneath his wings and an unquenchable zest for life. Houston, may you find peace in the skies above, as we hold you close in our hearts below. Your life was a beautiful flight and a memory we will cherish always.
