Hillary Jo Treutlein's Obituary
Hillary Jo Treutlein, 40, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her residence
on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
Hillary was born on August 29, 1984, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Chad and Debbie Treutlein.
She attended Union Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 2004.
Hillary had a passion for sports, particularly baseball, where she was an avid Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers fan.
She also enthusiastically followed college football, cheering for both her beloved Oklahoma
Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys. Her love for musicals was evident in her enjoyment of
films like "Mamma Mia," "The Little Mermaid," and "Frozen."
Those who knew Hillary will fondly remember her characteristic half-smile that could quickly
bloom into a radiant grin accompanied by her infectious laughter. Her joyful spirit was reflected
in her love for balloons, with pink and yellow being her favorite colors.
A woman of faith, Hillary spent most of her life as an active member of Memorial Drive United
Methodist Church, where she found great joy in singing hymns during worship services.
Hillary is survived by her loving parents, Chad and Debbie Treutlein; her sisters, Mary Jarboe
(Carl) and Patty DuBois; and her aunts, Cindy Neal, Susan Baker, Lori Sechrist, and Edna Smith.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Verle Rosenthal and Chad and Eleanor
Treutlein; her uncle, George Treutlein; and her aunt, Ginger Holcomb.
A funeral ceremony honoring Hillary's life will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the
Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. Viewing will commence one hour prior to the
ceremony. Interment will follow at Floral Haven. There will be a balloon release following the service at Floral Haven.
