A graveside ceremony honoring the life of Henry Lloyd Olson will be held 10 AM Monday, March 22, 2021 in the pavilion at Park Grove Cemetery. Henry passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 17, 2021 at his Broken Arrow residence. He was 63 years old.Henry was born November 5, 1932 in Eureka, Kansas, the son of Henry Albert and Ellen Christine (Anderson) Olson. He graduated from high school in Eureka, and later attended college in Emporia, Kansas. Henry met Barbara through mutual friends. They would make Broken Arrow their home in 1953.As an aircraft mechanic, Henry was employed by McDonnell-Douglas for over 40 years. He always loved cars and operated a body shop at his home. This provided a steady income for his family during several layoffs in the aviation industry. Henry was a man dedicated to his family. He enjoyed taking them to Ft. Gibson Lake where they made many memories fishing from the dock at their lake home. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Olson; his son, Allen Olson; and his brother Phil, Olson. Henry was preceded in death by his parents.
