Harriett Jane Sears' Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Harriett Jane Sears on October 27, 2025. She passed peacefully at home.
Jane was born in Watonga Oklahoma on May 6, 1937 to Willard T Buck and Billie Marie ( Allen) Buck.
She attended John Marshall high school, William Woods College and Central State College.
Jane will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and friends and of course her love of chocolate!! She found joy in playing piano, crossword puzzles, reading, playing cards, history, gardening, and most of all, OU football, a Saturday tradition she shared with her beloved sister Willa.
She is survived by her children, Kevin, Mark and Cindy, Grandchildren Heather, Aubry and Marcus, Great Grandchildren, Elliston Jane and Kai, sister Willa and canine friend Ollio. She is preceded in death by her husband John. Her legacy of love will live on through her family and friends who will carry her memory in them forever.
Funeral services to honor Harriett's life will be held on December 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Parish of Christ the King located at 1520 S Rockford Ave, Tulsa, OK 74120. The family would like to invite everyone to a reception directly following the service at Fletcher Hall.
