A Celebration of Life honoring Giovonni Delane Gordineer "Gio" will be held 2 PM Monday, December 19, 2022 in the Rivercrest Chapel, 13329 S. Memorial Drive in Bixby. Gio passed away Friday evening, December 9, 2022 in Tulsa. He was 20 years old.
Born June 3, 2002 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Gio was the son of Richard and Nikiyia (Rodanski) Gordineer. Gio grew up in Tulsa where he attended Robertson Elementary. As a child, Gio was always running, playing, driving tractors, and riding four wheelers. He was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 7. Gio enjoyed playing video games, especially Grand Redemption and Call of Duty. He loved music and had great aspirations to become an architect.
Gio transitioned into homeschooling when he was 11 years old and completed his high school education. He was so funny, always making jokes and laughing with his nieces. He was the most wonderful uncle in the world! His memory will be eternal in the hearts of all who loved him.
Surviving family include his parents; his grandparents, Diane “Granny” and Ronnie Ridgeway; sister, Haley Gordineer, and brothers, Franchesco Gordineer and Tommy Gordineer; his aunt, Bobbie Rodanski; great grandmother, Dee Woods, great aunt, Laura Woods; 2 nephews; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
