Services to honor and remember the life of Frank Green will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at South Tulsa Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Leonard Frank Green, 89, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when his heart stopped suddenly and he was ushered into the presence of the Lord and reunited with loved ones who had gone before him.Frank was born January 14, 1930, in Higgins, Texas, to James G. and Nancy Ann Green. He was one of four children. After graduating from Pampa High School in 1948, he studied at the University of Arkansas then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Stationed in Geneva, New York, Frank met and married Sandra Ann Harvey and they had two children. He completed his Bachelor's degree at The University of Tulsa. The couple later divorced. In 1975, he married Dolores Jean Taylor Simpson, who had two children from a previous marriage.Frank had a long and stellar career with State Farm Insurance, starting as an agent, then manager and eventually agency director. He thoroughly enjoyed his work and won numerous awards.His family, friends and colleagues have enjoyed his sense of humor and cherished his generous spirit. We will miss his Cajun shrimp boils and "slightly world famous" Caesar's salads. His dog, Joey, may miss him more than anyone.Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ormand Green and Jack Green; sister, Betty Ann Pharis; wife, Dolores; and son, Steve Green.He is survived by his daughter, Stefanie Forney of Tulsa, OK; two step-children - Deborah Gatica of Tulsa, OK and Bruce Simpson of Tulsa, OK; daughter-in-law, LeeAnn Green of Tulsa, OK, six grandchildren - Alexa Simpson of Tulsa, OK, Evan Gatica and his wife, Jessi Cruickshank, of Los Angeles, CA, Danielle Ford and her husband, Sean, of Denver, CO, Amber Casey and husband, Robert, of Claremore, OK, Justin Green and wife, Sherry, of Kimbell, WV, Alicia Short and husband, Allen, of Wagoner, OK, and eleven great-grandchildren - Lucy and Elliott Ford of Denver, CO, Rio and Diego Gatica of Los Angeles, CA, Kayla Casey of Tulsa, OK, Brittney and Nathan Casey of Claremore, OK, Zach, Brendan, A.J. and Tyler Short of Wagoner, OK.Service South Tulsa Baptist Church 10310 S.
