Faye was a sweet lovely Christian lady. She will be so missed. She certainly lived for showing her love for Christ to others.
I always enjoyed the stories of aunt Faye and Mom when they were younger. Sounds like aunt Faye had a knack for getting my mom into trouble. The last few times we were with her at her house, I discovered that she was quite the card player. She would quietly but ferociously beat the tar out of us at whatever card game we were playing. There are many things I will miss about aunt Faye.
Faye Billingsley was the first person to greet and welcome us to the Downtown Bixby Church of Christ 14 years ago. We became instant close friends. After my mother died nearly ten years ago, she became my adoptive mom. We often visited two or three times a week. We loved cooking, laughing or crying together. Mostly just talking. We made hundreds of beautiful memories in our times with each other. She was a precious lady, one of the dearest on Earth to me.
