This is from Charlie Myers. Joe was a fun friend.
He would come to Turning Point almost every Wednesday Friday and
Saturday for a long time.
He made many friends with the other customer.
My sister Carole would give him a ride home after he shopped for a couple of hours.
At the last he stopped coming and customers would ask about him.
He was part of the family We will miss him and remember the interesting
Things he would say and do. I look forward to seeing
Him again in heaven.

My father passed when I was 15, Mr. William’s kind of took that role as a role model. I spent allot of time at their home , which became my second home. He was a blessing in my life

Joe was one of our favorite customers at Turning Point Thrift Store . He always came in with a smile and would often get a chair, sit down and greet the customers. Everyone enjoyed him and he made everyone feel welcome.
When Joe shopped he had great taste and he could find the best of everything. Customers Would even ask him for his advice. He was fun, loving and a good friend to us all .

In loving memory
Today, we remember a dear friend and a cherished customer who brought so much joy, and kindness, and love to everyone he encountered. His warm smile, generous spirit, and uplifting presence touch, countless lives in and around our store.
To those who knew him, he was truly loved and appreciated. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of the many people he inspired with his compassion and friendship. While we grief his loss, we are grateful for the blessing of having known him and for the beautiful memories he leaves behind.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who loved him during this difficult time.

I remember Commonwealth, I remember Taffy the cat, I remember the grandfather clock, and the secret doors. But most of all, I remember my uncle was the best baker around and I love those cakes and cookies he always made, I stayed in the kitchen.
