Edd first believed in me when he hired me from dishwashing into the pro shop at Okmulgee Country Club, giving this poor kid his first opportunity to play a lot of golf and develop my game. Although I disappointed him a few years later when he worked for Srixon/Tour Edge, he later forgave me and treated me as he always had. I'm saddened to find out Edd has passed away, he had a big impact on my life.
Edd, Connie and family were very close as friends and in business. We are so sad to hear of Edd's passing. Edd and I played many rounds of golf together. Connie..the very very early years we spent as friends and the years that Edd and Stan spent umpiring was years of happiness and good times. Stan died on Feb 13, 2010. Just remember I've never forgotten you two and the times we hunted rabbits at night with your dad. Memories live on till we remember no more. May God grant you and your family peace and comfort.
