Douglas Alan Jones' Obituary
Doug was born December 15th, 1962 to Roy Lee Jones and Carmen (Osburn) Jones in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He passed away July 1st, 2025 in his home in Haskell, Oklahoma. Doug grew up in the Haskell area and graduated from Haskell High School in 1981.
He was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Haskell. Doug was always willing to help out where needed; church projects, nephew and nieces 4-H show animals, Okmulgee County 4H Youth and Club Projects, Okmulgee County Cattlemen's Association holding offices and helping to plan their Annual Tour trips.
Proceeding him in death: his father, brother Mike Jones, sister Cindy Brockett, grandparents AA & Elizabeth Osburn and Roy Mel and Ursula Jones.
He is survived by his mother, sister Janice (James) Neal, brother Charles Jones, Brother-In-Law Terry Brackett and Sister-In-Law Sherry Jones; three nephews, six nieces, ten great nephews, ten great nieces and two great great nephews.
Doug will be greatly missed but we are happy has gone to a much better place and is in peace.
A service honoring his life will be held Monday, July 21st, 2025 at 10am at Central Church of Christ in Haskell, Oklahoma. His final resting place will be in the Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, Oklahoma.
