Dorothy Edna Revak passed away peacefully Saturday evening, September 27, 2025, at her residence at the Cottages of Woodland Hills in Tulsa. She was 99 years old.
Dorothy was born on February 7, 1926, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up attending a small Methodist church, where she received a Bible that became treasured throughout her life. Her faith in Jesus remained central to who she was, and she touched many lives with her witness-including fellow passengers on the Minneapolis bus routes she traveled, many of whom found salvation through her gentle encouragement.

After Melvin's passing, she later met and married Frank Revak, they enjoyed dancing the Polka and took many trips to Tucson, Arizona. In 1986, Dorothy relocated to Tulsa with her daughter Nancy and granddaughter Jeannae to be closer to her son, Jack, daughter-in-law Jan and their their two children, Jackie and Dee.
Dorothy dedicated many years to waitressing, a position she loved and took great pride in, often sharing that she never dropped a plate. After moving to Oklahoma, she worked at Woodland Hills Mall alongside her daughter Nancy.
