Graveside services honoring and remembering Donald G Peckham will be held 11:00a.m., Friday, August 13th, 2021 at the Fairview Cemetery in Medford, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m. Thursday evening at the RiverCrest Chapel and Event Center at Bixby-South Tulsa Funeral Service.
Donald G. Peckham was born March 13, 1935 in Enid, Oklahoma and left to go home August 6, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Peckham, his wife, Kathryn (JoAnn) Peckham and son, Chris Steffee. He is survived by his daughter, Patty Dowell and her husband, Henry of Wichita, Kansas and two sons, Matt Steffee and wife, Connie of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Andy Steffee of Garland, Texas, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Don was forever helping his family and friends. He was a loving and caring man, always making people happy and was the first to give hugs to people even if he didn’t know them. Don was fond of games and having fun. He loved playing with the children, he would watch them for a short time and then join in with them. Don had an amazing sense of humor all the way to the end of his life.
Don enlisted into the Air Force serving as a civil servant and Air National Guard for well over twenty years. He was proud to have served his country. Don was always proud to help with community projects.
