A memorial ceremony honoring the life of Dillon Lane Daggett will be held 2 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Happy Acres Cowboy Church in Mounds. Viewing is scheduled for 1-3 PM Tuesday afternoon and 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at the Bixby-South Tulsa Funeral Service. Dillon passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in Tulsa. He was 30 years old.
Born March 22, 1993 in Tulsa, Dillon was the son of Edward Lane and Shannon Deniese Daggett. Dillon helped his father from an early age in his construction businesses. He lived in Gardnerville, Nevada and Vernal, Utah as well as in Bixby, Ok. While in Vernal, Dillon attended the Uintah Basin Christian Academy. He was baptized in Vernal at Ashley Valley Calvary Chapel. He would eventually attend Bixby High School. Dillon played little league baseball in Bixby. He played football through his freshman year.
Many great memories were made building fences, pole barns, team roping, and helping his father move drilling rigs out west. He also enjoyed hunting hogs, ducks, and geese in Oklahoma and throughout the state of Texas.
Surviving family include his parents, Eddie Daggett and his wife, Kim, and Shannon Daggett; his sister, Faith Daggett; and brothers, Wyatt and J.W. Daggett; his grandmother, Joetta Daggett and great-grandmother, Loretta Carnes as well as step brothers, uncles, aunts and cousins.
