David Odell Coker's Obituary
David Odell Coker, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. David was born and raised in Texas, where he attended high school at Pleasant Grove. During his time there, he was active in the auto body class, igniting his passion for mechanics and craftsmanship.
David spent most of his career with Briggs and Stratton, where he served as a regional representative and a master service technician. His expertise and dedication earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and customers alike. Outside of work, David devoted much of his time to studying his Bible and found great joy in his faith.
Above all, David cherished his role as a grandfather and great-grandfather. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he loved spending time with them, sharing stories, wisdom, and laughter.
David is survived by his two children, David and his wife, Monica, and daughter, Melissa Coker; his treasured grandchildren, Reagan, Deja, Jeremiah, Jelissa, Braden, Caden, Elijah, and Kenzie; and his great-grandchildren, Grayson and Montanna. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne, his sister, Susie, and the mother of his children, Julie Coker.
David was preceded in death by his parents, who now welcome him home.
