Cyrus Boswell's Obituary
Cyrus Allen Boswell was born on June 27, 1953, in California, to Cyrus Mitchell Boswell and Hazel Isabelle (Jones) Boswell.
From a young age, Allen had a love for sports, especially baseball. During the time the Boswell family lived in Binger, Oklahoma, he had the unique experience of being coached by Johnny Bench, who was then a high school student-an early memory that remained special throughout his life.
Allen also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Music was another important part of his life. He spent many years playing alongside his brothers, even performing in nightclubs and appearing on television in the 1970s on a program called the John Chick Show.
In his free time, Allen enjoyed working on his car, playing pool, and, most importantly, spending time with his family-something he valued deeply throughout his life.
Following high school, Allen attended Bacone College for two years before transferring to Northeastern State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business.
Allen passed away April 3, 2026. Those he leaves to cherish her memory are brother, Gerald Boswell and wife, Christean, brother, Eric Michael Boswell; along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus M. and Hazel I (Jones) Boswell; brothers, Marvin M. Boswell, Harry F. Boswell, Eldon C. Boswell, Keith D. Boswell; sister, Connie S. Boswell; and sister-in-law, Barbara Boswell.
