Cynthia Jane Bray's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Jane Bray, who peacefully departed this life on August 25, 2025, at the age of 75. Cynthia was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on June 28, 1950, and lived a life full of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and those around her.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mitchell Lee Bray, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, love, and partnership. She was also preceded by her parents, Rosamond and Walter Thompkins; her brother, John; her nephew, Stevie; and her brother-in-law, Steve Moody.
She leaves behind her three devoted daughters: Kimberly Ann, Kristina Kay, and Michelle Deette, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Cynthia was also a proud and loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is survived by her dear sister, Cheryl Ann, with whom she shared a close and
special bond throughout her life.
Cynthia will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the deep love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the generations of family she nurtured and inspired.
