Dear Shirley, being married into the Thomas family, I have heard the Bettner name frequently mentioned. Connie & her mom and I went to Geneva to reminisce & visit your mom and dad several years ago. We arrived and your father was mowing the yard. We would usually exchange Christmas greetings with your Dad and Mom. I got to see the Noble Township Elementary school, the Geneva church, walk across the bridge and see their home up on the hill. Last year I was working and staying in Columbus, IN. I was able to locate your family's business but by that time it was after hours and no one there. I wish I could have met the rest of your family. Thank you for your kind words.Randy Harris

My mother told me about Connie’s passing. I was So sorry to hear that. You have my sympathy. Connie Jo was my neighbor, playmate and friend at Noble Township Elementary school and Sunday school at Geneva Methodist church, which was just across the Flat Rock River bridge across from their house on the hill. I have fond memories of her family. I pray God’s comfort for you at this difficult time...
