Cheryl Christine Gregory's Obituary
My beloved partner-in-all-things, Cheryl Christine Gregory, transitioned March 29th, 2025. Cheryl was born in Bristow to parents Christine and Earl Gregory. She handled bookkeeping for the family trucking business and, despite her diminutive size, learned to drive trucks that delivered oil field pipe to the drilling sites. She moved to Tulsa and became an accountant, real estate broker, entertainer, and later the top selling on-camera talent on America's Shopping Channel. (In addition, she was an astrologer and psychic like her mother.) Cheryl and I met in 1990 writing and optioning movies-of-the-week, network specials and mystery and romance novels. (She loved the fact that she got to work with Carol Burnett.) Cheryl was beautiful inside and out--talented, smart, incredibly funny, and tough. She loved her dogs, cats and horses, her ranch in Bixby and the 35 years of love and laughter we shared. Her leaving is oxygen sucked from the room. All lights extinguished. Heaven reclaiming one of its most beloved angels. (Love is forever, sweet Cheryl. I will always find you.) Cheryl is survived by her sister Jeri Garrison, brother Earl Gregory Jr., sister-in-law Sylvia Gregory, sister and brother-in-law DC and David Brockman, brother-in-law William McKissick III, her nieces and nephews and Pam McKissick, her spouse and partner. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the animal organization of your choice.
