Charlotte Diane Wilson's Obituary
Charlotte Diane Wilson, known to family and friends as Diane, passed away on July 18, 2026, at her residence in Mounds, Oklahoma. She was born on July 18, [birth year], in Maude, Oklahoma, to Anna (Pelton) Birdcell and Kenneth Clark.
Diane grew up in central Oklahoma before heading to California to attend beauty college. She later returned home to Oklahoma, where she completed her beauty college education in Tulsa. For many years, she owned and operated Diane's Cut N Curl in Mounds, building a business - and countless friendships - that became a true part of the community.
Outside of work, Diane found joy in gardening and growing plants, and she was a devoted lover of dogs and animals of all kinds. She also had a well-known love of shopping. Above all, Diane will be remembered for being generous, loving, and accepting - qualities that touched everyone who knew her.
Diane is survived by her son, John Wilson, and his wife, Christina; her grandchildren, Jordan, Harley, Paige, and Laci; and her great-granddaughter, Crimson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Larry; and her daughter, Shelli English.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
