Services to honor and celebrate the life of Charlotte Kay Turner will be 10:00 am Friday, January 22, 2021 at RiverCrest Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday at RiverCrest Chapel.
Charlotte Kay Turner was born October 7, 1954 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to JC and Virgie (Seely) Turner. She was the youngest of four children including big brothers, Murl and Gerald, and sister, Deloris.
Charlotte was raised in Bixby and attended Bixby Public Schools. Several years upon her high school graduation, she made her home in Broken Arrow where she raised her three children.
Working various jobs, Charlotte eventually found employment with American Airlines where she had a 29-year career. She recently retired in October of 2020.
Charlotte attended Life.Church, South Broken Arrow. Her faith and family were the two most important things to her. She enjoyed OU Football, shopping, decorating her home, and spending time with family- her pride and joy! To us, she was Mom, Momma, Grandma, Gammy, Grams and Graham Cracker, Now, she is our Angel.
This mom, grandma, sister and friend passed away peacefully at her home on January 19, 2021. She was 66. Though she was taken from us too soon, her legacy will live on through her family.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory are daughters, Carla Colbert and husband, Terry of Tulsa, Robbie Eversole and husband, David of Broken Arrow; son, John Corey Stepp of Broken Arrow; eight grandchildren, Casper, Jade, Grayson, CamBrie, Haley, Mason, Taylor, and Noah; two great grandchildren, Jaycee and Landon; brothers, Murl Turner and wife, Donna, and Gerald Turner and wife, Andrea; sister, Delores Melson and husband, Charlie; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, JC and Virgie Turner.
