Cesar Omar Madrid, a man of resilience and unwavering dedication, passed away on February 7th 2024 at the age of 45. Born July 8, 1978 he humbly entered this world in Borger Texas by a midwife. With the only evidence of his birth recorded in the pages of a cherished family Bible. Later in life, when his parents were forced to have other records of this they did only what they knew to do at the time and that was to get him a Mexico birth certificate from Chihuahua Mexico. Causing him to then be a permanent residence here in the USA. Cesar's early years were marked by a nomadic journey between Mexico, Texas, and later Oklahoma as his father toiled in the oilfields.
Growing up, Cesar displayed a strong work ethic, always prioritizing the well-being of his parents and brothers. He pursued his education and graduated with honors and distinction at Webster High School, actively participating in ROTC demonstrating his patriotism and love for the outdoors. Cesar was a multifaceted individual who found joy in various activities, including sports during his athletic youth and traveling. His love for technology, weapons of all sorts but primarily knives and guns as well as cooking reflected his diverse interests. Allowed him and his family to participate in many fun times and traditions together.
Cesar met the love of his life Megan which he called Bunny and she called him Snookie while working at Braum's as her Assistant Manager at 31st and Mingo here in Tulsa , Oklahoma. The connection was immediate, leading to a beautiful union that they had for almost 23 years and a marriage between them on September 20th. It was a bond that was unbreakable, a love that was desired, and a friendship that was admired by all. Not only did the couple work well together in there day-to-day lives, but in many places along their career paths, they worked and collaborated with each other and on many projects and in many teams with each other. Even when it came to pursuing their education they both attended ITT-Tech together. Cesar went for computer technology and Megan for Paralegal studies.
While at ITT Cesar then pursued a career with Siemens Industry Inc. located at the time in Bartlesville Oklahoma before relocating to Houston Texas 3 years ago. He dedicated fourteen years of exemplary service with this company. Cesar loved his work, his colleagues, and the work environment. His colleagues regarded him as the best employee, a testament to his skill level and commitment. He showed up every day with a smile on his face. Cesar's personality was a blend of kindness, sternness when necessary, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. He was creative, intelligent, when it came to technology and math or complicated puzzles, he made it look effortless. Even with his daily life even though it was a struggle at times.
Cesar and Megan's relationship was built on mutual support and a shared love for trying new things.
He was always supportive of her wild endeavors and helped her be a carefree spirit. Not only was he a loving husband but also a devoted father to their daughter, Keira Lynn Madrid Johnson and their beloved fur babies Sally, Molly, and Chica.
A man of diverse taste Cesar enjoyed watching history, science, Scifi, an Anime. Delving into the intricacies of U.S. history learning about wars and or how things were made. His eclectic taste in music ranged from rap, hip-hop, alternative, to pop, country, and even some gospel. With NF, Eminem and Macklemore being among some of his favorite artists.
Cesar faced his most challenging health battles with unparalleled strength, leaving indelible mark amongst those who witnessed his courage. He is preceded in death by his parents Dora and Eleuterio "Tello" for short by those who knew him. Leaving behind a legacy cherished by his beloved wife, Megan, adopted daughter, Keira, and brothers, Eric and Oscar Madrid. As well as numerous extended family members uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Cesar Madrid's memory will forever live on in hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know this remarkable man, - a loving husband , father, and friend, whose spirit will continue to inspire us all. May he rest in peace.
A funeral celebrating the life of Cesar Omar Madrid will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the Rivercrest Chapel of Bixby South Tulsa Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday the night before services. Thank you and God bless!
