Cary Don Hutchens, 60, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026. He was born September 24, 1965, in Tulsa, to Dr. Gilford Pat and Betty Louise Hutchens (Barham).
Cary was a proud 1983 graduate of Jenks High School, where he made his mark as a quarterback on the football field. He went on to build a long and successful career in sales, earning a reputation for his dedication and people skills throughout his professional life.
Those who knew Cary knew him as a man who truly loved life. He had a deep passion for the great outdoors - whether he was hiking a trail, casting a line on a favorite fishing spot, or adding to his treasured collection of petrified wood. He had an adventurous spirit and a love of travel, always eager to explore new places and experience all the world had to offer.
Cary is survived by his daughter, Jaedyn; his father, Dr. Gilford Pat Hutchens; his brother, John Brett Hutchens and wife, Joy; and his sister, Lori. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Louise Hutchens.
A graveside service honoring Cary's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
