April Maxine Ball passed away July 9, 2023 at her son, Andrew's home in Collinsville. She was 72 years old. A memorial service will be held at a later date in her hometown of Welch, Oklahoma.
Born September 16, 1950 in Joplin, Missouri, April was the daughter of Herman and Della (Collins) Jones. April grew up in Wyandotte, Oklahoma where she completed high school. She was always a lover of horses and all types of animals. April met and married Archie Ball in 1983.
Through the years, April worked as a factory worker. Most recently, she was employed by a military contractor. April loved Western culture, Indian beading, quilt making, and history.
Surviving family include her son, Andrew and his wife, Jennifer; stepson, Josh Ball and his wife, Amy; her brother, Herman Jones Jr. and his wife, Elaine; and four grandchildren, Levi, Newley, Ben, and Sarah.
April was preceded in death by her two sisters, Peggy and Cheryl, as well as her parents.
