Anna G. Huff's Obituary
Anna Huff Obituary
Born February 15, 1927, in Feucht-bei Nuremberg, Germany, Anna was the daughter of Wilhelm and Rosa (Saeger) Goemmel. She would later become a big sister to a younger brother, Rudolf. Following her formal education, Anna would serve in the German Air Force.
In 1948, Anna met an American soldier, Lawrence E. Huff. A few years later, the two would welcome a son, Eddie. It would be several years later that Eddie and Anna made their way to the United States to join Lawrence. They would live in New Mexico, Philadelphia, and eventually El Paso where Anna would live the majority of her adult life.
Other than a short stint of being employed as a maid, which she dearly loved, while living in New Jersey - Anna was a homemaker. There is no doubt that Anna took great care of her husband, her only child, and her home. She certainly knew how to keep an immaculate and clean home! The right way!
In her spare time, through the years, Anna enjoyed swimming and working outside around the house and in the yard. Living in El Paso, she grew to love the expansive turtle population there and did her part to build shelter for and feed as many turtles as she possibly could.
A character, feisty, honest, tough and giving are all words that help to describe Anna. She had a great smile and blue eyes that drew compliments her entire life!
