Amy Sheree March's Obituary
Amy March Obituary
Born March 22, 1987, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Amy was the daughter of James Young and Brenda Curtis. She was later adopted and raised by Scott Tate when he and Brenda married. As she grew, Amy believed herself fortunate to have both her father, James and her “dad”, Scott.
Amy attended Broken Arrow Schools. In her youth, she played softball, but fairly quickly decided that was not for her. It seemed that from an early age, Amy was known to be caring and big-hearted. She was always taking friends in, picking up stray animals, and doing without so that others could have what they needed. A favorite story that demonstrates this is when she gave $40 dollars, that she really didn’t have to give, away to a homeless man needing to get back to family. These acts of kindness normally meant that there were more people in the Tate residence than could comfortably fit. Nevertheless, they seemed to always manage.
Being the mother of seven intelligent, and beautiful children was Amy’s greatest accomplishment.
Amy passed from this life on November 25, 2022 in Oklahoma City. She was 35.
She is survived by: her father, James Young; her mother, Brenda Tate; her dad, Scott Tate; her children: JacLynn, Wesley, and Robert Standeford and Alexander, Payton, Cynthia, and Carson March; her siblings: Erica Tate, Billy Young, James F. Young, Randy Young, Robbie Young, and Jennifer Knots. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Lillie Young and by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
