Uncle Al had a way of loving you that came wrapped in humor. If he picked on you or gave you a hard time, you knew you were in. That was his way. He loved to cut up, tease, and keep everyone laughing. I will always smile thinking about how his nephews called him “Mooch” every time he showed up at Marilyn's for dinner. He never missed a chance to show up, especially when it meant being with family.
I’m so thankful for our recent visits and the sweet conversation we shared about heaven. Those moments feel especially precious now. There is no doubt he is with his Lord and Savior. He loved his family deeply, and you could see it in the way he looked at them. He will be missed more than words can say.
