Cindy Sapp Ruhmann
My aunt lived a wonderful and full life. I spent so many hours with her reminiscing over her life. She was born in Barry County, Missouri, the second child of Ancel and Lucille Sapp. A few years later after her brother, Bob was born, the family moved to Blackwell, Ok. That new life was interrupt by the depression when the family moved back to Missouri for a time and then back to Blackwell. She committed her life to Christ when she was about 7-8 years old with her mother by her side. My aunt graduated from Blackwell High and attended secretarial school in Oklahoma City where she met her husband, Joseph ({Pete) Voros in 1943. They marred in early 1944 and later that year welcomed their only child, Joseph Jr. After her husband completed military service and college they eventually settled in Kansa City where Alice worked for Commerce Bank and rose to the position of Trustee Officer. When her husband was transferred to Baton Rouge in 1977, Alice retired from the Bank. They moved to Tulsa after her husband's retirement in 1986(?). Alice took up tole painting, enjoyed her garden, fished with her husband and loved her church.
