This sweet young lady felt the anxiety in my 6 yr old Autistic son who insisted on riding the Ferris wheel at Scheels. She reassured and comforted him as if he was her little brother as he slowly climbed on with me, the both of them saying “ I can do this.” As she locked us in she again reassured him and told him to tell stop as loud as he could if he wanted down, have him a hug and we were off. He was a little shaky but each time we passed the cautious wave from him to her became more excited and echoed with a little laughter from both. When the ride stopped he ran to her and gave her a big hug and told her he would see her next weekend if he could to ride again. Best day ever from a teenager who did not have to go out of her way to comfort a little boy who had never been on a Ferris wheel before but I’m glad she did. GOD has a new angel and she is such a beautiful and wonderful addition to heaven. Fly High Sydney!
