Sally Gallaugher Obituary Mass of Christian Burial honoring Sally Ann Gallaugher will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at St. Clement’s Catholic Church in Bixby. She passed away early Sunday morning, April 24, 2022 at her home in Tulsa. Sally was 85 years old. Born December 2, 1936 in South Sioux City, Nebraska, Sally was the daughter of Milton and Harriet (Slutz) Persinger. The oldest daughter of fourteen children, Sally and her family moved to California where her father found work as an electrician. A graduate of Antelope Valley High School, it was there she met her sweetheart, Robert Gallaugher. They were united in marriage on December 3, 1954 in Las Vegas. The couple resided in Lancaster most of their lifetime where Sally worked as a bookkeeper for Woolworth’s department store. The couple eventually moved to Bixby in 2007 to be nearer family. Sally was always known to love Christmas and the collectibles that accompanied the season. She enjoyed square dancing, attending craft shows with her sisters, and putting together jigsaw puzzles. Sally was a parishioner at St. Clement’s Catholic Church. She was devoted to the outreach ministry until her health prohibited her from driving. Most of all, Sally was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren, as well as her great grandchildren and great-great grandkids. May her memory be eternal in the hearts of a host of family and friends who loved her. Surviving family include her daughter, Debi Crandall; her grandchildren, Michelle and Steve Meacham, Chris & Sasha Rutledge, Angela Kelly, Robert & Megan Gallaugher, and Steven Gallaugher; great grandchildren, Dylan & Aubrey Trudell, Zachary and Beth Trudell, Savannah Meacham, Justin Meacham, Layne Rutledge, Cordell Rutledge, Rhyan Kelly, and Sloane Gallaugher; and great great grandchildren, Wolff Trudell and Willow Trudell; and her siblings, Lee & Shirley Persinger, Shirley Persinger Neher, Phil & Sue Vartanian, Tim & Judy Persinger, Terry Persinger, Lanny Persinger, Dy Waide, Pam Persinger Mowry, and Jim Persinger. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, her son, Bob Gallaugher, and brother, Father Patrick Persinger.
