Pedro Rocha Obituary Pedro Paz Rocha, 66, of Camiri, Bolivia, died October 21, 2020, in his Bixby home surrounded by his loving family.Mr. Rocha was born June 29, 1954, in Camiri, Bolivia, to Francisco Paz Montano and Paula Rocha Rojas. He was welcomed by his three older siblings Carmen, Rolando, Eugenio, and followed by his younger sibling Jose Efrain. In his youth, Pedro would form an early love for farming and cultivating land as well as playing soccer. This certainly seemed to carry on throughout his life- a man who loved agriculture, animals, and the outdoors.Pedro attended and graduated from Gabriel Rene Moreno High School in Camiri, Bolivia, where he played varsity soccer. He would later join the Bolivian Military where he served his country for 2 years. Pedro would later work in the Bolivian oil fields. His sister Carmen was first to find The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bolivia and would influence her brother Pedro to join the church.Pedro would then move to the United States to further his education. He attended and graduated with a degree in Accounting & Business Management from Stevens-Henager College in Ogden, Utah. Shortly after graduating college he moved to Provo, Utah where he attended a Spanish Branch. It was at a New Year’s Eve church dance where he met Evangelina Santos. It was here where they shared a dance and sometime later they met again and began dating. Six months later they were married and sealed at the Salt Lake City Temple on Friday, June 21, 1985.This couple started their journey making their home in Provo, Utah and would welcome their daughter, Vangie, two years later. Followed by their son, Louis. They would soon move to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the year 1991 and two years later welcome their son, Shawn.Pedro was a wonderful father who loved his children dearly. He enjoyed building their relationships through early morning breakfasts, enjoying the outdoors such as camping or fishing with his sons, dancing and singing with his daughter, watching movies, listening to music, working together in the family business, family get-togethers, trips and cookouts.Pedro would be a business owner throughout his career and even in retirement continued to work and provide for his family. When he wasn’t working he would be found in the backyard of his home doing what enjoyed most which is gardening, chopping fire-wood, raising his chickens, planting flowers for his wife, he loved to grill, and would often do so for his family.Pedro was a loving husband, father, Tata(grandpa), brother, uncle, and friend. He always wanted to make those around him feel happy and would generously give and serve others.Pedro will certainly be missed by those who knew and loved him. His battle has now been won as he has now joined his Savior Jesus Christ and those who have gone on before him including; his parents and brother, Eugenio.He is survived by: his loving and dedicated wife of 35 years, Evangelina Rocha; his daughter Vangie Marie Arellano (Rocha) and his son-in-law Miguel Arellano; his sons Louis S. Rocha and Shawn McKay Rocha and daughter-in-law Bella Jerusalen Rocha; his grandchildren Evaria and Ivar; his sister Carmen Torrico; his brothers Rolando Rocha and Jose Efrain Rocha.
