Kathryn Allain Obituary A Celebration of Life honoring and remembering Kathryn Allain “Kitty” will be held 4 PM Monday, October 3, 2022 at Victory Church, 7700 S. Lewis Avenue in the first floor chapel in Tulsa,OK. Kitty, stepped into Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ early Sunday morning, September 11, 2022 in Jenks. She was 74 years old. Born January 13, 1948 in Muskogee, Kitty was the daughter of Richard and Betty (Lias) Carlton. In the second grade, Kitty and her family relocated to Lapel, Indiana. She was a cheerleader for the Bulldogs alongside her twin sister, Suzie. Kitty graduated from Lapel High School with the Class of 1966. Kitty had a special place in her heart for the members of the Lapel Class of 1966. Class reunions, in Indiana, were a time of great joy and laughter for her.Following high school, Kitty was employed as a flight attendant with American Airlines. While living in Dallas, she was introduced to Jim Allain III. The couple were married January 17, 1970 at the Grace Episcopal Church in her hometown of Muskogee. To this union were born three beautiful children, Michelle, Michael and Stephen. Kitty was a wonderful, caring and fun mother, always keeping everything organized and running smoothly in the home. Her life was centered around her deep love for her family. In 1974, she gave her life to Jesus and soon after, introduced the rest her family to a deep relationship with Jesus. A wonderful singer, Kitty was a member of the Gospel group “Sharing” with her twin sister Suzie and brother in-law Wayne Buck while attending Boulevard Christian Church in Muskogee. It was Victory Christian Church and School that led Kitty and her children to the Tulsa area. Through the years, Kitty volunteered countless hours as a substitute teacher, an usher, and remained ever so involved with her children’s numerous activities. Kitty enjoyed her time serving the Lord at Victory with the spiritual leadership of the Daugherty family. Kitty prayed for and ministered to so many people. She wasn’t afraid to ask everyone she encountered “Do you know Jesus?”. Her life was a life of praise and worship, even when she was suffering. Kitty lived her live loving on the ones hurting in the shadows.Though Kitty spent most of her life devoted to her family, she also pursued a career with Honor Books, a subsidiary of Harrison House Publishing. She also worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Tej Lad, primarily on the administrative side of the dental practices. Whatever Kitty put her mind to, she ensured that everything was well organized and running smoothly.Kitty was well loved by everyone who knew her. She loved entertaining and hosting social gatherings in her home. Kitty loved jewelry and her favorite place to eat was the Olive Garden with her best friend Judy Burns. She leaves behind a host of family and friends to cherish her memory. Surviving family include her three children, Michelle Allain, Michael Allain and wife, Mona, and Stephen Allain and girlfriend, Tiffany Trahan; her grandchildren, Jax, Rhys, and Elizabeth; her twin sister, Suzie Buck and husband, Wayne; and her sister, Candy Walker and husband, Rick, granddaughter Judy Abraham (Bassam Abraham), grandson’s Jax Allain, Rhys Ballou-Allain, nieces Heather Buck, Jennifer Jones (and family), Whitney Coleman (and family), Andrea Milligan (and family), Crissy Stratton (and family), Terri Hunter (and family). Nephew’s Jonathan Buck (and family), Robert Walker (and family). Special thank you to Tiffany Trahan, Judy Burns, Weston Horn, Moria Horn, Casii Stephan and Amira Al-Jiboori for their sacrifice, love, kindness and support for Kitty in her time of need. They all touched the heart of Heaven with their love for Kitty.Also, thank you to Sharron Daugherty, Paul Daugherty and the Seasons Hospice team.
