John Bostic Graham, Jr.

John Bostic Graham Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and pioneering media producer, passed away peacefully at his Broken Arrow residence on February 9, 2025, at the age of 72. Born October 6, 1952, in Oklahoma City to John Bostic Sr. and Betty (Evans) Graham, Johnny, as he was known to many, demonstrated his creative talents from an early age. During his years at Putnam City High School, class of 1970, he distinguished himself as a track athlete while nurturing his passion for music, playing in bands at the age of 14. Following his musical inclinations, Johnny pursued his education at the Columbia School of Recording in Los Angeles, where he honed his skills as a recording engineer. While in California, he met the love of his life, Suzanne Ratliff, whom he married on July 24, 1976, in Redondo Beach. This training laid the foundation for what would become his life's work. He established Cloud 9 Productions, a full-service multimedia production company which he successfully operated for 45 years. As a recording engineer, film producer, and director, Johnny was renowned for his exceptional storytelling abilities and his gift for bringing creative visions to life through music, film, and directing. An adventurous spirit at heart, Johnny was an avid fisherman who pursued his passion across the globe, from the waters of Brazil and Mexico to the pristine wilderness of Canada and Alaska. He found great joy in the outdoors, particularly while riding his tractor and tending to his land. His faith was an integral part of his life, and he was a devoted member of Victory Christian for over 20 years, having previously attended Church on the Move. John leaves behind his beloved wife, Suzy Graham; his son and favorite fishing buddy, J.T. Graham; his dear sister, Nita Sue Hoernig and her husband Otto, whom John fondly referred to as his "brother from another mother"; his nephew and fishing companion Billy Hoernig and family; and his niece Laura Hoernig and her family. He is also survived by his buddy and brother Gary Graham and family, and his brother-in-law Pat Ratliff and family. John's legacy of creativity, faith, and love for both his craft and the outdoors will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he has left this earthly stage, the music of his life plays on in the hearts of those who loved him.
