Wesley Duane Fenton

Born August 8, 1962, in Broken Arrow, Wesley Duane “Wes” Fenton was the son of Clifford Eugene and Sigrid Renata (Willum) Fenton Smock. Wes grew up in the Bixby area and attended schools there. It was during those school years that he made many life-long friends.

Friends and family were certainly the most important things to Wes. He loved his wife, his sons, his mother and his grandchildren. Wes also loved his job, as a long-haul truck driver, and was a hard worker. Through this endeavor, he provided well for his family. He also enjoyed the times when Tammie would ride along with him. When he wasn’t at work, and was able, Wes could be found enjoying the outdoors as he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Wes passed from this life on June 22, 2021. He was 58.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Tammie; son, Joshua Rowdy Fenton and Stephanie, along with their children: Rowdy and Joshua Fenton; son, Cody Fenton and Jacki and their children: Nikoli Fenton, Lyn White, Blayne Josling, and Erica Josling; three brothers: Fred Smock (Liz), David Fenton (Joann), Darrell Fenton (Sabine); one sister, Tina Blackwell (Troy); step-sister, Pam Therman (Mark); sister-in-law, Penny McClure; mother-in-law, Donna Wilkerson; step-mother-in-law, Barbara Fenton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sigrid Renata Smock (2016); his father, Clifford Eugene Fenton (2006); grandmother Lydia Willun; grandmother, Ava Shook; brother, Glen Fenton; sister, Lisa Pitts; uncles, Robert Fenton, Art Fenton, Sam Fenton; aunt, Caroline Shook and sister-in-law, D.J. Witcher.
