Robyn Paliotta, a devoted wife, mother of three girls, grandmother to eight beautiful grandchildren, aunt, sister, daughter, community leader and the list goes on, was born on May 20, 1957, in The Bronx, New York. She and husband, Steve Paliotta, made the Tulsa area their home where they raised daughters: Theresa, Kristie, and Stefanie. Robyn taught at Jenks High School for over 20 years as a math teacher where she became known by many as Mrs. P! She was not only an advocate for her students but loved helping the teachers when she transitioned to the curriculum resource instructor for the math department.
In her spare time, and on school breaks, Robyn enjoyed traveling, taking motorcycle trips with Steve, spending time at the beach, reading, watching Hallmark movies, and playing cards with her family and friends. Hosting family gatherings brought Robyn great joy and made many lasting memories for her entire family. As she gained grandchildren, Robyn’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with those who called her “Nonna.” Robyn has been described as faithful, giving, dedicated and steadfast. She lit up the room with both her smile and personality.
Over the past few years, Robyn has been a fighter to ovarian cancer. Prior to that, she battled through non-small cell lung cancer and won! It was on Friday evening, September 3, 2021 that Robyn passed from this life at the age of 64. She was surrounded by her loving family who will greatly miss her, but continue her legacy of life, love, and family gatherings.
Robyn is survived by: her husband, Steve; daughters: Theresa and husband, Peter; Kristie and husband, Patrick and Stefanie and husband Justin; eight grandchildren; siblings: Gilbert (Darlene), Jeffrey (Jennie), Maria; brother-in-law, Joseph (Dana); sister-in-law, Lynn; aunt, Dolores along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Ann Gusher Anzalone and David Anzalone.
