Patricia Anna Myers

Patricia Anna Myers, better known as “Pat Nanny Myers”,74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born June 14, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harold and Lucille Duvall. She was a 1964 graduate of Tulsa Central High School. She later worked in finance at Jim Nelson Ford for ten years, and then with Nelson Electric where she worked as a purchaser and maintenance planner for twenty-six years. She retired from Nelson Electric in 2004.

Pat truly lived life to the fullest through her simple pleasures; spending time with her children, grandchildren and her wonderful friends at Autumn Park, cooking, reading, gardening, fishing, playing bingo, the occasional casino run, and following her nightly routine that consisted of chewing three pieces of gum (specifically, Juicy Fruit, Big Red and Extra Bubble Gum), eating ten M&Ms and drinking a Coors Banquet. Pat had an uncanny ability to love all those around her and bring joy to any situation. She was a devout Christian and loved participating in her weekly bible study with her friends from Autumn Park and Cindy DeLay.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Lucille Duvall; and her brother, Ronald Duvall. She is survived by her brother, James Duvall; four children, Christy Leach, Jamie Hood, Stacey Cosby, and Jimmy Myers; her children’s spouses, Jim Leach, Gerald Cosby, and Nancy Myers; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her best friend, Fran Higley; and her beloved cat, Piper. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Pat touched are invited to Crossroads Fellowship Church, 100 W. Dawes, Ave., Bixby, OK 74008 at 3:00p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 to celebrate her life.
