A graveside service to honor and remember Mildred H. Craig will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023 in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Mildred "Millie" passed away March 13, 2023 at Saint John Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 82 years old.
Born May 29, 1940 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Millie was the daughter of James Herbert and Julia (White) Hathaway. Graduated from Okmulgee High School. She met and married Chester Eldon Craig on October 31, 1970 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The couple relocated to Jenks, Oklahoma in 1976.
Millie was employed by BancFirst for many years. She loved her cats and she enjoyed going to the casino. Eldon enjoyed woodworking and coin collecting.
Surviving family members include her nephews, Rusty Hathaway and his wife, Sara, and Brian Hathaway and his wife, Danielle; great-nephews, James, Paul, and Zachary Hathaway; great nieces, Breana Rush, Allie Hathaway, and Rachel Henderson; two great-great nephews and one great-great niece.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldon; her brothers, Owen Hathaway and his wife, Stella, Dale Hathaway and his wife, Joy; and her nephew, Perry Hathaway.
