Lyndal Lee Williamson was born December 13, 1948 in San Francisco, California to Velta Mae (Bullock) and James Williamson. His arrival was anxiously awaited by big brother, James and proud sister, Cheryl. During his toddler years, the family moved back to Bixby to be near family. In 1964, Velta married Talmadge Ray Linebarger: not only did he become a husband, but he also became a father.
Raised and educated in Bixby, Lyndal played football and wrested for the Spartans. He graduated with the Class of 1967. Upon graduation, Lyndal married Rhonda Vaught. To this union two children were born: Tony and Tanya.
Lyndal worked in the electrical field all his career. He was employed with Tulsa Electric Company and eventually was self employed as a manufacture representative.
Gardening, golfing and cheering on the OSU Cowboy football team were his favorite hobbies. Lyndal belonged to the Masonic and Shriner Fraternal Organizations. He was one of the last to participate in the Tangier Temple in Omaha, NE.
He passed away April 16, 2020.
Those he leaves to cherish his memory are: son, Tony Williamson of Bixby; daughter, Tanya Barlow of Omaha, NE; grandsons, Jonah Williamson of Mansfield, MO, Justin Buss and Travis Buss both of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.
