Kathleen Fortner

Kathleen "Kathy" Fortner went home to Jesus peacefully with her children David, Rebecca, and Jason by her side on October 30, 2023 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Kathy was born to Thelma Richardson and Loren Notley on October 3, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Kathy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Derrel and her parents Thelma and Loren Notley. Kathy is survived by her three children- David, Rebecca, and Jason and their spouses Renee, Jeremy, and Halina. Kathy had 6 beautiful grandchildren- Sam, Henry, Natasza, Asa, Alex and Lena.

Kathy was deeply rooted in her faith and was continually inspired to share God's love with others. She was an encouragement to all who knew her and was loved by many. Her heart for missions and her volunteer work with Saint Francis hospital impacted many lives over the years.

Kathy found true joy in her friendships with others- she enjoyed lifelong companionship with friends from high school and college, Bunco groups, South Tulsa Baptist Church, Anthem church, Union, Bishop Kelley, neighbors and others-all who made her life rich and full of laughter.

Kathy will be remembered as an impeccable planner, a dedicated servant of Christ, and a friend to many.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Kathy at Anthem Church in Broken Arrow on Friday, November 10 at 1 pm.

Memorial gifts may be made to "The Little Light House".
