Jo "Jodi" Forsythe

Jo Ann “Jodi” Forsythe was born March 7, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe Smith and Dixie (Burgin) Smith. Jodi attended and graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1968.
Jodi enjoyed dancing, listening to country music- especially Garth Brooks. She liked spending time outdoors and trips to the lake. An avid OU fan, Jodi was a greater fan of children. While they were young, she coached their various sport teams: soccer, baseball, softball, and swimming. She also worked the corners at Hullet Raceway where Samantha raced motorcycles.
This loving mom and grandma passed away July 13, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory are her children, Samantha Forsythe, and Brandon Osterhaus; grandchildren, Austin Forsythe, Jordan Midkiff, Joshua Forsythe, Gabriel Forsythe, and Kieran Forsythe; brother, Randy Smith and wife, Teena and their children; along with her beloved dog, Boomer.
