James Robison Obituary

A funeral service honoring the life of James Wayne Robison will be held 2 PM Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Rivercrest Chapel in Bixby. James passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2020 in Tulsa. He was 55 years old.

The son of Rosetta (Conrad) Walding, James was born January 1, 1966 in Escondido, California. The family moved to Hutchinson, Kansas when James was 6 months old where they lived for 5 years. James would return to California and then Texas where he lived out his teenage years. James graduated from Bonham High School in 1984 in Bonham, Texas. Weightlifting was James’ favorite activity while in school. He loved the outdoors and spent countless hours with his brother playing in the valley.

Following his high school education, James enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served as a flagman. He spent most of his military tenure stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. James met many great friends while in the U.S. Navy while sailing on the U.S.S. Biddle. James went on to achieve his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Business Administration.

James co-founded “2 Wise Guys PC Repair” in 2003, along with his mother, Rose and brother, Gary. The two brothers serviced the computers while Rose handled the marketing. The family achieved a tremendous amount of business success through the years and are still doing so today. James was known to treat each customer as an individual and they absolutely loved him for it!

A spiritual man, James loved the Lord and believed in the power of prayer. He was also a “Star Wars” enthusiast and maintained a vast network of friends in the “Star Wars” community. James was devoted to his family and always had a great deal of respect for his mother. He leaves behind a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.

James is survived by his mother, Rose Walding, his brother, Gary Robison, his sister-in-law Lena Robison, his sister, Kimberly Garcia, his nephew Shon Robison and nieces Serenity Garcia and Grace Barlow.
