Glenda Lou Siegrist was born August 4, 1950, in Farmington, New Mexico to Willie D McCoy and Emma Louetta Rogers. She married Clifford Siegrist in 1981 in Miami, Oklahoma. They began their life together in Arkansas, before moving to Bristow where they made their home. There, Clifford was building a sawmill.
Between the couple, Glenda and Cliff had two daughters, Kandy Batey of Bristow, and Dama Lee Hinds of Springdale, AR; sons, Cleve Siegrist of Hindsville, AR, and Coy Neil Siegrist and wife, Sherry of Marble, AR; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Glenda had four sisters, Bessie May Meredith, Alice D Turner, Willie McGarrah, and Mary Pfeifer; three brothers, Johnny Fox, Bobby Lee McCoy and Tim E. McCoy. She had two close friends that she loved and called sisters, Sharon McMillan and Rosita Chaves.
Glenda drove a school bus for Bristow Public School. She loved children and would play songs for them.
Glenda and Cliff were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Glenda had many callings in the church. One was working with the sisters and meeting any needs that could be met. She was a kind and loving person.
She was the family history keeper for both sides. She visited people all over the country doing genealogy.
Glenda always had kind words and a smile. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She passed away May 18, 2023. She was 72 years old.
