Gerald Sims Obituary

Gerald “Jerry” Louis Sims passed away peacefully at his home in Ramona, OK on May 3rd, 2021 at the age of 86 . He was surrounded by his loving wife, Lois “Joan” (Fidler) Sims and step daughter, Cindy Finn.

He was born on 11/10/1934 to Babe (Parnett) and Jack Sims. He was a 13 year USAF veteran and after leaving the air force worked in environmental services/housekeeping in multiple medical centers from California to Oklahoma.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Babe & Jack Sims, son, Scotty Sims and daughter, Carol Ann (Duke) Newman.

He is survived by his wife, Lois “Joan” Sims and step daughter, Cindy Finn of the home; grandsons, Jerry Beeson of Miami, OK; Randy Scarff of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Shawn Newman & wife, Kendall of Broken Arrow, OK; grand daughters, Natalie Vath of Broken Arrow, OK; Michelle Barto of Tulsa, OK and multiple great grandchildren.
