Doreen Gaye (Little) Hufnagel, age 77, of Tulsa, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 1, 2022, surrounded by her close and loving family.
Gaye was born in Los Angeles, California on April 5, 1945, to C.E. “Bud” and Beverly Jean (Page) Little. The Littles moved to Oklahoma where they made their home in Piedmont and raised their three daughters. She received her education in Piedmont where she was a star basketball player and a beautiful cheerleader. Gaye was a woman of strong faith and loved her relationship with God. She had a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry. Family was her main priority and she prided herself in being involved in each of their lives. Gaye married the love of her life, Rolf Hufnagel, and they made Tulsa their home. She was actively involved with her church and contributed a lot of her time to helping others.
Gaye was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Beverly Little; sister, Judy (Little) Martin; sister; Marcy (Little) Stambaugh, and by her beloved dog, Harley Hufnagel.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Rolf; son, Brent Biggs and wife Elizabeth; son, Mark Biggs and partner, Bumper; and daughter, D’Ann (Biggs) Bolden and husband, Steve; daughter, Jessica Hufnagel; daughter, Melissa Klien and husband, Peter; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, a nephew, and many other relatives and very close friends.
Pallbearers will be Gaye’s grandsons; Brady Biggs, Blake Biggs, Brett Biggs, Jake Bolden, Dylan Holuby and Jaxon Holuby.
Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rivercrest Chapel & Event Center/Bixby Funeral Service (13307 S. Memorial Dr., Bixby, OK). Services for Gaye will be Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church (5050 E. 111th Street, Tulsa, OK). Interment will be at the Mathewson Cemetery in Piedmont, OK, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
