Elizabeth Ruth Davis

A service honoring and remembering Elizabeth Ruth Davis will be 2 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the Rivercrest Chapel, 13329 S Memorial in Bixby. Viewing and visitation will begin at 12 PM prior to the funeral ceremony. Elizabeth passed away early Sunday morning, October 29, 2023 in Sapulpa. She was 86 years old.

Born August 4, 1937 in Tulsa, Elizabeth was the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle (May) Spickelmier. She graduated from Will Rogers High School with the Class of 1955. Elizabeth was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and she always had her door open and a place to stay for anyone in need. She always chose to see the best in people.

Through the years, Elizabeth was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church of Claremore. She also volunteered her time to the "Busy Bees" organization, as well as the "Dickens on the Boulevard" festival every year in Claremore. Though a homemaker most of her life, Elizabeth held a plethora of jobs - and could be described as quite the Renaissance woman.

Surviving family members include her sons, Bill and Kenneth; grandchildren, Mitch and wife Allie; Amanda and her husband, P.J., Jennifer and her husband, Edwin, Cera, and Cayson; and her great-grandchildren, Sarah, Derick, Kailey, Calvin, Adalyn, Savanna, and Austin.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Deanie, Don and Charles; sister, Alene; and her daughter, Terri.
