Duan L. Anderson

A memorial gathering remembering Duan Anderson will be held 2:30 PM Friday, October 20, 2023 in the Parlor Room of Bixby-South Tulsa Funeral Service. Duan passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Tulsa. He was 86 years old.

Duan grew up on a farm in Bixby and graduated from Bixby High School. He was a good father and husband of 65 years to his wife, Leta. Agriculture was always a big part of Duan's life. He farmed pecans, cattle, and bailed hay on his acreage south of Bixby.

Duan also loved hunting, fishing, and most everything about the outdoors. At 2:30 PM every afternoon, he looked forward to meeting his friends at the various coffee shops around town.

Surviving family include Duan's wife, Leta; son, Mitchell Lee Anderson; sister, Carlene Hall of Salina; his grandchildren: Julie, Jeanna, and Jessica; and his great grandsons: Ty, Aiden, and Kalep.

Duan was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Stephen Anderson.
