Carol Berry Obituary
Carol Edwina Berry, 80, passed away on December 15th, 2021. She was surrounded by family, at her home in Tulsa.
Carol was born on November 3rd, 1941 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to William Edwin Pexton and Wilma Lois (Keeth) Pexton.
She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She went on to earn a Master’s degree as an Early Childhood Specialist. She taught kindergarten in Collinsville, Oklahoma for 21 years.
After retirement she enjoyed collecting antiques and Barbies. She was a skilled artist with many works decorating the walls of her home. But by far, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles (Chuck) Berry; her children and their spouses, Patrick and Angie Sharp, Stephanie and John Loftus, step-daughter Kelly Berry; and her sisters Mary Ann Cummins, Nell Reed, and Charlotte Claro, grandchildren Patrick Wayne (and wife Ali) Sharp, Claire Sharp, and Logan Pexton Sharp as well as step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be on Tuesday, December 21st, 11:00am at New Haven Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
